Keyuri Bhanushali is a TB survivor and advocate, so she knows first-hand where the gaps in the system can create challenges for patients. From diagnosis to treatment and post-cure follow up, people living with TB often undergo a difficult health care journey. Even when the best services are available and affordable, the patient’s experience can be complicated and disjointed.
Thanks to PATH for convening this great discussion about how we can revolutionize the TB journey in ways that are more patient-centric and more concordant. Thanks also for this excellent summary of our discussions and of some of the resultant Q&A. Our discussions reviewed some exciting progress made, but also highlighted the need for much more innovation and determination to move toward what persons affected by TB need and deserve.
